Step #1 Mix all ingredients except tamales in crockpot & heat until melted.
Step #2 Remove corn husks from tamales & crumble into melted cheese mixture.
Step #3 Frozen or canned tamales are fine.
Step #4 Thaw if frozen.
Step #5 Have a bowl of tortilla or corn chips available to scoop up dip or warm flour or corn tortillas so they can use as a filling.
Step #6 To make it more figure friendly I like to also serve this with fresh veggies like shredded lettuce & sliced tomato! Makes a great & different taco (tamale) salad.
