Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1 1/2 tsps vanilla .
  • 1 tbsp water .
  • 1/2 c granulated sugar .
  • 1/2 c mini chocolate chips .
  • 1/2 c corn oil margarine, softened .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 2 large egg whites .
  • 1 c dark brown sugar, packed

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F Line cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, cream together margarine, water & sugars with an electric mixer on a high speed for 2 mins.
  • Step #3 Add egg whites & vanilla & mix well.
  • Step #4 Blend in flour, baking soda & salt.
  • Step #5 Mix well.
  • Step #6 Add chocolate chips & mix thoroughly.
  • Step #7 Scoop dough in rounded 1/2-tspfuls & place on prepared cookie sheet about 1-inch apart.
  • Step #8 Bake until deep golden brown.
  • Step #9 Cool completely & serve.
  • Step #10 (For variety, add 1/2 c rolled oats, 1 c raisins or 1 c dried cranberries.
