Breakfast Cereal Cupcakes To Go Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 oz) package miniature marshmallows (about 6 c) .
  • 1 (16 oz) can ready to spread frosting (optional) .
  • 1 (13 oz) package post Cocoa Pebbles cereal or Fruity Pebbles cereal (cocoa or fruit-flavored puffed rice cereal) .
  • candy sprinkles (optional) .
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine (1/2 stick)

Directions
  • Step #1 Lightly grease muffin pans.
  • Step #2 Microwave butter in a 4 quart mirowavable bowl on high for 45 seconds or until melted.
  • Step #3 Add marshmallows, stirring to coat.
  • Step #4 Microwave 1 1/2 mins or until mashmallows are melted & smooth, stirring after 45 seconds.
  • Step #5 Add cereal; mix well to coat.
  • Step #6 Press cereal mixture firmly into prepared pans to form ccakes using about 1/3 c of the mixture.
  • Step #7 Cool & remove this from pans.
  • Step #8 Frost just before serving if desired.
  • Step #9 Decorate as desired with the candy sprinkles.
  • Step #10 Store unfrosted ccakes wrapped in a cool dry place.
