Baked Cheese Omelet Recipe

Ingredients

1 bell pepper, seeded & sliced .
4 eggs .
4 green onions, sliced .
12 oz jarlsberg cheese, cut in 1/2 ' cubes, or substitute your favorite cheese .
2 tbsps butter .
1/4 c water .
1/2 tsp salt .
1 c cooked ham, sliced

Directions

Step #1 Preheat oven to 400°F Beat eggs, water, & salt together.
Step #2 Melt the butter in a heavy ovenproof pan & then add the onions, ham & bell pepper.
Step #3 Sauté for 3 mins.
Step #4 Pour the egg mixture over the onion, red pepper & ham mixture & then sprinkle with the cheese cubes.
Step #5 Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 mins.
Step #6 When the egg is set & the cheese has melted, the omelet is done.
Step #7 Garnish with parsley- if desired- & serve.
