Tangy Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 medium onions, sliced .
  • 1/8 tsp pepper .
  • 2 tbsps water .
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar .
  • hot cooked rice (optional) .
  • 2 tbsps worcestershire sauce .
  • 1 large green pepper, sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 2 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 2 celery ribs, sliced .
  • 1 (14 oz) can stewed tomatoes .
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice .
  • 1/2 c ketchup .
  • 1 beef bouillon cube .
  • 2 tbsps cider vinegar .
  • 4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick

Directions
  • Step #1 Place chops in slow cooker (aka crockpot).
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top with salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Add onions, celery, green pepper & tomatoes.
  • Step #4 Combine ketchup, vinegar, lemon juice, worchestershire sauce, bouillion & sugar.
  • Step #5 Pour over vegetables.
  • Step #6 Cover up & cook LOW 5-6 hrs Mix cornstarch & water til smooth.
  • Step #7 Stir into liquid in slow cooker (aka crockpot).
  • Step #8 Cover up & cook on high 30 mins til thickened.
  • Step #9 Serve over rice if desired.
