Escargots Aux Champignons Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp green onions, minced .
  • 12 tbsps butter, unsalted, softened .
  • 1 tbsp dry vermouth .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream .
  • 24 mushroom caps .
  • 1 tsp parsley, minced .
  • 24 snails, rinsed & drained .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Pre-heat the broiler.
  • Step #2 Cream the softened butter with all the rest of the ingredients, except the mushrooms & snails.
  • Step #3 Remove the stems from the mushrooms caps (reserve for other use).
  • Step #4 Stuff each mushroom cap with a snail.
  • Step #5 Cover up each snail with a spoonful of the butter mixture.
  • Step #6 Broil stuffed mushrooms for six to eight mins.
