Chinese Pork Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps sesame oil .
  • 1/2 c mixed peas & carrots (frozen) .
  • 3/4 medium onion (sliced) .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 2 smoked pork chops .
  • 1/4 c soy sauce .
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 2 c instant rice

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small pot bring the water to a boil.
  • Step #2 Stir in the rice.
  • Step #3 Cover up with a lid & set aside.
  • Step #4 Cut the pork into tiny sliced pieces.
  • Step #5 In a large skillet, place the vegetable oil over medium-high heat & get it hot.
  • Step #6 Place onions into skillet & fry until almost transparent.
  • Step #7 Add the peas & carrots, stirring until thawed & heated thoroughly.
  • Step #8 The rice should now be ready.
  • Step #9 Pour rice into skillet.
  • Step #10 Add the sliced pork, soy sauce & sesame oil.
  • Step #11 In a small bowl, with a fork, beat the eggs well.
  • Step #12 Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the rice mixture, constantly stirring with a fork in a back & forth action, rather than a circular action.
  • Step #13 You do not want the eggs to solidify like scrambled eggs or fried eggs.
  • Step #14 You could omit the pork & have just Chinese Fried Rice.
