Pepper Pot ( With Beef & Taters) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1-2 medium onion, sliced .
  • 1 garlic clove, finely sliced .
  • salt .
  • 2 tbsps worcestershire sauce .
  • 10 large potatoes, thinly sliced .
  • 32 oz pork & beans, 10 1/2 oz .cans .
  • 2 lbs stewing beef or sliced chuck .
  • 1 tbsp black pepper .
  • 1/4 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Place beef,water,pepper,onion,garlic & worchestershire sauce in bottom of dutch.
  • Step #2 oven then layer half of the potatoes over.
  • Step #3 meat,add beans then another layer of potatoes.
  • Step #4 (You may salt&pepper each layer if.
  • Step #5 you want.
  • Step #6 )cover with lid or tinfoil wrap.
  • Step #7 Place in 300F deg.
  • Step #8 oven for 2 1/2 to.
  • Step #9 3 hrs.
  • Step #10 ( I like to cook it at about 250 deg.
  • Step #11 for 4 1/2 to 5 hrs.
