Chicken Saltimbocca Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c butter .
  • 1 c white wine .
  • 4 slices prosciutto .
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts .
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Place 1 ham slice over each chicken breast & fasten with toothpicks.
  • Step #2 Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium high heat & fry chicken for 5 to 7 mins, or until almost cooked through (juices run clear).
  • Step #3 Pour wine over chicken & allow to evaporate; place 1 slice of cheese over each chicken breast & cover skillet.
  • Step #4 Cook until cheese has melted; about 5 mins.
