• 2 tbsps minced onions .
• 1 dash pepper .
• 1/8 tsp garlic salt .
• 1/3 c plain breadcrumbs .
• 3-4 tbsps margarine or bacon drippings .
• 1 1/2 c cold seasoned mashed potatoes .
• 2 tbsps all-purpose flour .
• 1 large egg .
• 1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese

• Step #1 In a medium bowl lightly beat egg.
• Step #2 Add mashed potatoes cheese flour onion garlic salt & pepper stirring until well mixed.
• Step #3 Place crumbs on a piece of waxed paper.
• Step #4 With floured hands shape one fourth of the potato mixture into a 4 inch patties.
• Step #5 Coat both sides of the patties with crumbs.
• Step #6 In a large skillet over med-heat/flame cook patties until crust & browned on each side.
