Gingersnap Pears Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 (15 1/4 oz) cans sliced canned pears, drained .
  • 1/3 c finely sliced walnuts (or could use any nut of your choice) .
  • 1/4 c butter, melted .
  • 1 1/2 c finely crushed gingersnaps (about 32 cookies) .
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Place pears In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top with flour & toss lightly to coat.
  • Step #3 Divide among 8 - 8 OZ custard c.
  • Step #4 Combine the gingersnaps, walnuts & butter.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top over pears.
  • Step #6 Place custard c on baking sheet.
  • Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins or until heated through.
  • Step #8 Serve with vanilla icecream or plain with a dallop of whip cream on top.
