Step #2 In a separate bowl lighly beat together egg, buttermilk, & applebutter (prune puree may be substituted for any pureed fruit or fat replacement product).
Step #3 Mix dry & wet together.
Step #4 Let stand a few mins for oatbran to absorb the liquid.
Step #5 Preheat griddle to medium high.
Step #6 Spray with non-stick spray, scoop about 1/3 c of batter onto griddle.
Step #7 Optionally, add fresh fruit such as bananas or blueberries to pancake at this point.
Step #8 When starts to bubble, flip & cook a min more.
