Easy Linguine And Clam Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps parsley, sliced .
  • 1/3 c parmesan cheese .
  • 20 oz canned clams, undrained .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1/4 c heavy cream .
  • 1/2 c white wine .
  • 2 tbsps flour .
  • 1 tsp oregano .
  • 1 shallot, minced .
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes .
  • 1/2 lb linguine .
  • 2 tbsps butter

Directions
  • Step #1 20oz canned clams is equal to 2-10oz cans of sliced clams with juice.
  • Step #2 Cook linguine as instructed.
  • Step #3 Drain.
  • Step #4 Meanwhile melt butter in skillet.
  • Step #5 Add garlic, shallot & red pepper flakes.
  • Step #6 Sautee for 4 mins until vegetables are cooked.
  • Step #7 Add flour, oregano & parsley to mixture & stir until incorporated.
  • Step #8 Keep stirring for at least 1 min.
  • Step #9 Add clams with juice & wine.
  • Step #10 Stir constantly for 8mins or until thickened.
  • Step #11 Remove from heat.
  • Step #12 Stir in cream & cook over low heat/flame until well heated about 2 mins.
  • Step #13 Pour sauce over pasta & toss.
  • Step #14 Sprinkle top with cheese.
