Cranberry Cherry Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 (3 oz) package cherry gelatin
  • 1 (3 oz) package lemon gelatin
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c boiling water
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can pitted tart red cherries
  • 1/3 c mayonnaise
  • 1 c miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (8 oz) can jellied cranberry sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Drain cherries, reserving juice; set cherries aside.
  • Step #2 Add water to juice to measure 1 c; transfer to a saucepan.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #4 Add cherry gelatin; stir until dissolved.
  • Step #5 Whisk in cranberry sauce until smooth.
  • Step #6 Add cherries; pour this into an 11-in.
  • Step #7 x 7-in.
  • Step #8 x 2-in.
  • Step #9 dish.
  • Step #10 Refrigerate until firm.
  • Step #11 In a bowl, dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water.
  • Step #12 In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese & mayonnaise.
  • Step #13 Gradually beat in lemon gelatin until smooth.
  • Step #14 Stir in pineapple.
  • Step #15 Refrigerate until almost set.
  • Step #16 Fold in whipped cream & marshmallows.
  • Step #17 Spoon over cherry layer.
  • Step #18 Refrigerate until firm.
