Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) package frozen sugar snap peas .
  • 2 c dry white wine .
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely sliced .
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed .
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves .
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine .
  • 3 carrots, peeled & cut into 1 1/2- inch pieces .
  • 2 tbsps brandy .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1 medium white onion, trimmed .
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper .
  • 1 bay leaf .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 3 1/2 lbs chickens, cut in quarters
