Apple Maple Baked Pudding - Pouding Aux Pommes Et érable Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps butter .
  • 1 c all-purpose white flour .
  • 3/4 tsp salt .
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon .
  • 1 c maple sugar or maple syrup (or 1 c brown sugar & 2 tsps maple extract) .
  • 4 tbsps slivered almonds .
  • 3 c of sliced apples .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 3/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 In a mixing bowl soften the margarine or butter.
  • Step #3 Add the beaten egg & maple sugar (or the brown sugar & maple extract).
  • Step #4 In a seperate mixing bowl sift all the dry ingredients together.
  • Step #5 Add the flour mix to the sugar mixture, & mix well.
  • Step #6 Add the sliced apples & almonds, mix well to coat all the apples & almonds.
  • Step #7 Pour into buttered cake mold or dessert molds.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350°F for 40 to 50 mins.
  • Step #9 Serve hot or cold with maple syrup & ice cream or whipped cream.
