Plum-flavored Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice .
  • 2 tbsps orange juice .
  • 2 tsps fresh ginger, minced .
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 4 ripe plums (about 3/4 lbs) .
  • 4 (3/4 lb) pork tenderloins .
  • 1 tsp pepper .
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil .
  • 2 tbsps hoisin sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut plums in quaters adn remove seeds.
  • Step #2 In a small saucepan, cook plums with 2 tbsps cold water untill soft & mushy, about 15 mins.
  • Step #3 Let cool.
  • Step #4 Add hoisin sauce, sesame oil, pepper, orange juice, soy sauce, lemon juice, ginger, & 1/4 c of water, stir this to mix marinade well.
  • Step #5 Trim Pork tenderlion, if necessary.
  • Step #6 Place in a roasting pan & coat with marinade.
  • Step #7 Cover up pan with plastic wrap adn put in the fridge for 3 hrs.
  • Step #8 Preheat oven to 400F degress.
  • Step #9 roast pork in marinade, uncovered, untill pork is white throughout, 30-35 mins.
  • Step #10 Remove meat to a carving board, slice, & arrange on a platter.
  • Step #11 Spoon pan juices over meat.
  • Step #12 Serve warm or at about room temp.
