Canadian Indian Guide's Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp pepper .
  • 2 c half-and-half or cream .
  • 5 c sliced raw fish .
  • sliced parsley .
  • 4 c sliced potatoes .
  • 1 quart boiling water .
  • 1 tbsp salt .
  • 3 c sliced onions .
  • 2 c milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Add potatoes, onions, salt & pepper to one quart boiling water.
  • Step #2 Cook 12 mins or til vegetables are almost tender.
  • Step #3 Add fish.
  • Step #4 Cook 10 mins more.
  • Step #5 Add milk & cream.
  • Step #6 Heat 15 mins more without allowing chowder to boil.
  • Step #7 Serve garnished with parsley.
