Ingredients
1 garlic clove (minced) .
3 c fresh mushrooms (sliced) .
1/2 c whipping cream .
2 tsps Dijon mustard .
1 tbsp cooking oil .
2 tbsps butter or margarine .
1/4 c white wine vinegar .
1 1/2 tsps soy sauce .
egg noodles (cooked, hot) .
1/2 c beef broth .
2 tsps cornstarch .
1 1/4 lbs sirloin tip steaks (cubed)
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 300F degrees.
Step #2 In a large skillet, brown meat in butter & oil; transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.
Step #3 In same skillet, saute ushrooms & garlic until mushrooms are tender, about 3 mins.
Step #4 Pour mushrooms & liquid over meat; cover & bake for 2 hrs or until meat is tender.
Step #5 In same skillet mix broth, vinegar & soy sauce; bring to a boil.
Step #6 Boil for two mins & set aside.
Step #7 Combine mustard, cornstarch & cream; stir in theto broth mixtre.
Step #8 Return to heat & boil for two mins, stirring constantly.
Step #9 Drain juices from baking dish into broth mixture.
Step #10 Cook over med-heat/flame, stirring constantly, until thickened & bubbly.
Step #11 Add beef & mushroom to cream mixture.
Step #12 Serve over hot cooked egg noodles.
