1 (4 1/2 oz) can Green Giant sliced mushrooms, drained .
1/2 onion, sliced .
1/4 tsp beef bouillon granules .
8 oz cream cheese .
16 oz sour cream .
3 1/2 c uncooked macaroni noodles .
2 c shredded sargento four-cheese Mexican mix cheese .
1 1/2-1 3/4 lbs hamburger .
1 tsp oregano .
salt & pepper
Directions
Step #1 Brown hamburger in frying pan with salt & pepper, oregano, Italian seasonings, onions & garlic til done.
Step #2 Drain grease.
Step #3 Stir in (drained) mushrooms & spaghetti sauce.
Step #4 Simmer on very low.
Step #5 Meanwhile, in small bowl, heat cream cheese in microwave til very soft.
Step #6 Stir in well the sour cream & beef bouillon.
Step #7 Set aside.
Step #8 Cook macaroni til just done, (or “al dente”), drain well.
Step #9 In greased 4 quart roaster or crock pot, then 1/3 cream sauce, place (layer) 1/3 noodles, then 1/3 meat sauce, repeat 2 more times til used up.
Step #10 Top with cheese.
Step #11 Bake in 350º oven for about 35-40 mins til heated through & lightly bubbling.
Step #12 Let rest 5-10 mins before serving.
Step #13 About 10-12 servings.
Step #14 Serve with garlic bread & a tossed salad.
