Double-chocolate Chunk Brownie Chips Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg .
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil .
  • 3 tbsps water .
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz) package pillsbury thick'n fudgy deluxe chocolate chunk brownie mix .
  • nonstick cooking spray, for greasing pan

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Spray the bottom of a 10x15 rimmed baking sheet, preferable nonstick, with the cooking spray.
  • Step #3 In a bowl, mix the oil, egg, & water & beat with a fork or wooden spoon until well mixed.
  • Step #4 Stir in the brownie mix & beat until well mixed.
  • Step #5 Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Step #6 Bake for 20 mins.
  • Step #7 Remove from the oven.
  • Step #8 Use a table knife to score the brownies into about 3-inch squares.
  • Step #9 Score each square on the diagonal to form 2 triangles.
  • Step #10 Return to the oven & bake this until the brownies are crips at the edges (but not burnt), about 15 mins longer.
  • Step #11 Transfer to a rack & cool int he pan for 10 mins.
  • Step #12 Use the edge of a spatula to cut the brownies at the score lines.
  • Step #13 Lift & remove the brownies from the pan & cool on a rack.
  • Step #14 They will harden & turn into "chips" as they cool.
  • Step #15 Arrange on a serving platter or in a basket & serve at about room temp with you choice of dessert dips.
