Tangy Tender Chicken (crock Pot) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tsps chicken bouillon granules .
  • 3 tbsps cornstarch .
  • hot cooked rice .
  • 1/3 c packed brown sugar .
  • 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks .
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves .
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger .
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips .
  • 1/4 c hot water .
  • 1 lb baby carrots .
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions
  • Step #1 In slow cooker (aka crockpot), green pepper, layer carrots, & onion.
  • Step #2 Top with chicken.
  • Step #3 Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
  • Step #4 Place pineapple over chicken.
  • Step #5 Add brown sugar, pepper, salt, ginger, soy sauce, bouillon, & garlic powder to pineapple juice; pour over pineapple.
  • Step #6 Cover up & cook on LOW for 8 hrs.
  • Step #7 Combine cornstarch & water until smooth.
  • Step #8 Gradually stir in theto cooking juices.
  • Step #9 Cook 30 mins longer or until sauce is thickened.
  • Step #10 Serve over rice.
