Tangy Maple Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 c sliced onions .
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce .
  • 1 tsp dry mustard .
  • 1 tbsp vinegar .
  • 1/8 tsp pepper .
  • 2 tbsps dried parsley flakes .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1/2 c pure maple syrup .
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • Sauce .
  • 1/2 lb ground beef .
  • 1/4 c water .
  • 1/2 lb ground pork

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine ground meats, Worcestershire sauce, egg, parsley, ½ tsps Salt & pepper.
  • Step #2 Form into 1 ½" balls.
  • Step #3 Place in 8" square pan.
  • Step #4 Bake at 350 for 20 mins.
  • Step #5 Meanwhile, mix cornstarch, dry mustard & remaining salt in small saucepan.
  • Step #6 Gradually stir in the vinegar, syrup & water.
  • Step #7 Cook & stir until thickened & bubbly.
  • Step #8 Drain fat from meatballs & pour the sauce over them.
  • Step #9 Return to oven & bake 20 mins longer.
