Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup .
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into bite size pieces .
  • salt .
  • lemon pepper .
  • 2-4 tbsps butter or Pam cooking spray (to prevent chicken from sticking to the pan) .
  • onion powder .
  • 1/2 c sour cream or half-and-half cream (sour cream adds some tang) .
  • 1/2 c water (I use half the soup can filled) .
  • pepper .
  • garlic powder

Directions
  • Step #1 In a Skillet sautee sliced chicken in butter or pam season chicken with genorus amounts of salt, pepper,garlic & onion powder.
  • Step #2 After chicken is cooked through remove this from pan.
  • Step #3 With your skillet still over med-heat/flame,Add your can of soup, water, & sour cream mix completely till you get a nice (gravy like consistency).
  • Step #4 Then add the lemon pepper ( I use A LOT) atleast 2T.
  • Step #5 but start off with 1 T.
  • Step #6 taste it & see if you'd like more.
  • Step #7 Put Chicken back into the pan & let simmer.
  • Step #8 ( You can eat it right away, but I've found if you simmer it for like 20-30min the chicken gets so tender & yummy.
  • Step #9 Serve over cooked white rice.
