Beef And Onion Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (2 lb) bag ore-ida frozen onion tater tots .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef .
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

Directions
  • Step #1 In lightly greased 13x9 pan, break up hamburger evenly onto bottom.
  • Step #2 Lightly sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Gently press beef into pan but don't press hard.
  • Step #4 You don't want it to be compact & come out hard.
  • Step #5 Evenly spread with soup, undiluted.
  • Step #6 Top evenly with tater tots.
  • Step #7 You'll have just a few left over.
  • Step #8 Bake in 375º oven, uncovered, for 35 mins.
  • Step #9 Cool 5-10 mins before serving.
  • Step #10 Additions:.
  • Step #11 Top beef with 1 can french-cut green beans, drained.
  • Step #12 (Then top this with soup.
  • Step #13 ).
  • Step #14 Top soup with Sargento 4-Blend Mexican cheese, shredded, 2 c.
  • Step #15 (Then top this with tator tots.
  • Step #16 ).
