Raspberry Almond Rugelach Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp milk .
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed .
  • 1/2 c raspberry jam .
  • 1 egg, beaten with .
  • 1 c sliced almonds

Directions
  • Step #1 Spread jam evenly over pastry.
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top with almonds.
  • Step #3 Roll up like a swiss roll.
  • Step #4 Cut each roll this into 8 equal portions.
  • Step #5 Place each on a greased paper-lined baking tray 5cm apart.
  • Step #6 Brush with egg/milk mixture.
  • Step #7 Bake in 180 Degrees C oven for 25 - 30 mins.
  • Step #8 Other variations instead of jam:.
  • Step #9 1/2 c chocolate spread (nutella) sprinkle with grated chcolate & sliced nuts.
