Meatballs Italiano Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 c seasoned dry bread crumbs .
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef .
  • 1 tbsp minced dried onions .
  • 1/2 c marinara sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning .
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 1/4 c grated parmesan cheese .
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional) .
  • 3 links Italian sausage (hot or mild, casings removed) .
  • 2 eggs, beaten .
  • 1 tsp garlic salt .
  • 2 tsps dried basil

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Step #2 Combine all ingredients In a large-ish bowl, mixing well with your hands.
  • Step #3 Pat mixture into rectangle on a cutting board.
  • Step #4 Cut into 12 equal sized segments, & form into large meatballs.
  • Step #5 Place on wire rack over foil wrap-lined baking sheet.
  • Step #6 Bake for 25-35 mins until cooked through (160°F).
  • Step #7 Baking time will vary depending on the size meatball you prefer.
  • Step #8 Bake until internal temp reaches 160.
