Low Sodium Herbed Brown Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh rosemary .
  • 2 1/2 c fat-free low-sodium chicken broth .
  • 2 tbsps sliced fresh chives .
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin .
  • fresh ground black pepper .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh thyme .
  • 1 1/2 c instant brown rice .
  • 3 tbsps olive oil .
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh sage

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine the cumin & broth in a medium saucepan & bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Add the rice, reduce the heat, cover, & let simmer for 10 mins.
  • Step #3 Combine the remaining ingredients & pour over the cooked rice, stirring to mix.
