Dip For The Stars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsps dry vermouth
  • 3/4 c pesto sauce
  • 1 c sliced sun-dried tomatoes
  • ground white pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 lb feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 c pine nuts, toasted
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 c unsalted butter

Directions
  • Step #1 In a food processor/blender, vermouth, feta cheese, shallot, mix the butter, cream cheese, garlic, & white pepper.
  • Step #2 Process until smooth.
  • Step #3 Oil a medium bowl, or gelatin mold, & line with plastic wrap for easy removal.
  • Step #4 Layer the dip into the mold as follows: Sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, pine nuts, cheese mixture.
  • Step #5 Repeat.
  • Step #6 Pat down into the mold, & put in the fridge for at least one hr.
  • Step #7 Turn the dip out onto a serving plate, & remove plastic wrap.
  • Step #8 Serve with crackers.
