Sweet Potato Biscuits (reduced Fat) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c light brown sugar .
  • 1 lb cooked mashed sweet potatoes (about 1 1/2 c) .
  • 2 1/4 c Bisquick reduced-fat baking mix .
  • 1/4 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
  • Step #2 Mixture will be moister than regular biscuit dough.
  • Step #3 Flour table (I use more biscuit mix for this) & your hands, & roll or pat dough to 1/2" thickness.
  • Step #4 Cut with 2 1/2" cutter.
  • Step #5 Placed on greased sheet pan & bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 16-18 mins.
  • Step #6 These do not rise a great deal so watch carefully & do not overbake.
  • Step #7 Serve with fresh butter.
