- Sauce .
- 2 tbsps butter .
- 1/4 c sugar
Directions
- Step #1 Pare & dice raw beets.
- Step #2 Cook in covered pan until tender.
- Step #3 Mix cornstarch & sugar.
- Step #4 Add liquid slowly, stirring into a smooth paste.
- Step #5 Cook over low heat/flame until slightly thickened.
- Step #6 Add vinegar & butter.
- Step #7 Stir to mix & pour over beets.
