Chocolate Sheet Cakeii Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c margarine
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c sweetened condensed milk
  •  
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c margarine
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 c water
  • 1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 1 c sliced walnuts
  • 3/4 c sweetened condensed milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan.
  • Step #3 In small saucepan, melt 1 c margarine; stir in the 1/4 c cocoa then stir in the water.
  • Step #4 Bring to a boil; remove this from heat.
  • Step #5 In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, brown sugar, cinnamon & salt.
  • Step #6 Beat in cocoa mixture.
  • Step #7 Stir in 1/3 c sweetened condensed milk, eggs & vanilla.
  • Step #8 Pour into prepared pan.
  • Step #9 Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 mins, or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
  • Step #10 To make the Frosting: In small sauce pan, melt 1/4 c butter; stir in the 1/4 c cocoa & 3/4 c sweetened condensed milk.
  • Step #11 Stir in confectioners' sugar & nuts.
  • Step #12 Spread on warm cake.
