Almond Butter Pound Cake With Berries Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp baking powder .
  • 4 eggs .
  • 1 c butter, softened .
  • 1 tsp almond extract .
  • confectioners' sugar .
  • fresh strawberries .
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 c buttermilk .
  • 3 c flour .
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 325F degrees F.
  • Step #2 Generously grease & lightly flour a bundt pan.
  • Step #3 In large bowl, beat butter & sugar until light & fluffy.
  • Step #4 Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Step #5 Add remaining ingredients, except berries & confectioner's sugar.
  • Step #6 Blend until moistened.
  • Step #7 Beat at medium speed 2 mins scraping bowl often.
  • Step #8 Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Step #9 Bake at 325F degrees F for 60 to 65 mins until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step #10 Remove from pan & cool completely.
  • Step #11 Just before serving, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar & garnish with fresh berries as desired.
