Turkey Tetrazzini (southern Living) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c shredded parmesan cheese, divided .
  • 2/3 c milk .
  • 1/2 c crushed onion & garlic croutons .
  • 1 1/2 c shredded baby swiss cheese .
  • 1/4 tsp paprika .
  • 3 1/2 c sliced cooked turkey (may sub chicken or ham) .
  • 1 (16 oz) jar alfredo sauce .
  • 1 (8 oz) package sliced fresh mushrooms .
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen tiny peas, thawed .
  • 12 oz thin spaghetti, cooked .
  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

Directions
  • Step #1 Whisk together soup & milk in large mixing bowl; whisk in Alfredo sauce.
  • Step #2 Stir in sliced turkey, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, spaghetti, peas, & 1/c c Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #3 Pour into lightly greased 15x10" baking dish.
  • Step #4 Stir together remaining 1/2 c Parmesan cheese, crushed croutons, & paprika; sprinkle evenly over casserole.
  • Step #5 Bake, covered, at 375* for 30 mins.
  • Step #6 Uncover & bake 15 more mins or until golden & bubbly.
  • Step #7 Let stand 10 mins before serving.
  • Step #8 NOTE #1: Casserole may be assembled & frozen up to 1 month.
  • Step #9 Thaw in frig overnight; baked, covered, for 40 mins Uncover & bake 15 more mins or til cheese is melted & bubbly.
  • Step #10 NOTE #2: If you prefer a smaller casserole, use 2 11x7" baking dishes.
  • Step #11 Proceed as directed.
