Easy Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 19 oz cherry pie filling .
  • 3/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 2 tbsps table cream .
  • 2 tbsps cocoa powder .
  • 1 tbsp almond flavoring .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil .
  • 2 tbsps sweet butter .
  • 1 (18 oz) box devil's food cake mix

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix cake mix with cocoa, almond flavouring, beaten eggs, melted chips & oil.
  • Step #2 Use a two c glass measure & nuke at medium until chips start to soften, they will melt fulling on standing- (stir the c well).
  • Step #3 Fold in cherry pie filling.
  • Step #4 Turn into greased bundt pan.
  • Step #5 Bake 350 degrees for 55 mins.
  • Step #6 The residue heat will finish the cooking.
  • Step #7 Cool, turn out onto a plate & glaze.
  • Step #8 Glaze:.
  • Step #9 3/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Step #10 2 tbsp butter.
  • Step #11 2 tbsp table cream.
  • Step #12 Microwave on medium the chips, butter, & milk until melted.
  • Step #13 Stir in 1/2 c icing sugar ( optional ) Cool & pour over cake.
  • Step #14 I use the same two c Pyrex measuring c to melt the chips & oil to put into the cake, & save it unwashed to make the glaze.
