Creamed Julienned Carrots Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsps butter, melted .
  • 1/3 c half-and-half, DIVIDED .
  • 1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced .
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh parsley .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 c grated fresh parmesan cheese .
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper .
  • 1/2 tsp tarragon .
  • 1 lb carrots, julienned

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Lightly grease or spray a 9" x 9" baking dish.
  • Step #3 Combine butter, Parmesan, onion, salt, pepper, carrots, parsley, tarragon & 1/2 of the half & half in the prepared baking dish.
  • Step #4 Toss to mix well.
  • Step #5 Pour the remaining half & half over the top & bake for 40-45 mins, or until the carrots are tender & the cream is thickened almost to curdling.
