Southern Pecan Pie Cappucino Squares Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar .
  • 1 tsp instant coffee granules .
  • 1/3 c oil .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/4 c powdered sugar .
  • 1 tsp hot water .
  • 2 tsps bourbon .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 1 (19 1/2 oz) package fudge brownie mix .
  • 2 tsps bourbon .
  • Topping .
  • Glaze .
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten .
  • 1/2 c cold strong brewed coffee .
  • 1 c whipping cream .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 1 tbsp whipping cream .
  • 2 c sliced pecans .
  • Brownie .
  • 2 tsps butter .
  • 2 tbsps flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Grease bottom only of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  • Step #3 In medium saucepan, melt 1/4 c of butter; stir in the flour until smooth.
  • Step #4 Add brown sugar & 2 eggs; mix well.
  • Step #5 Cook over medium-low heat 5 mins or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • Step #6 Remove from heat.
  • Step #7 Dissolve instant coffee in hot water; stir in theto filling.
  • Step #8 Add 2 t.
  • Step #9 bourbon, vanilla & pecans; mix well.
  • Step #10 Set aside.
  • Step #11 In large bowl mix brownie mix, coffee, oil & 1 egg; beat 50 strokes by hand.
  • Step #12 Stir in 1/2 c chocolate chips.
  • Step #13 Spread in greased pan.
  • Step #14 Spoon & spread flling evenly over top.
  • Step #15 Bake at 350 for 30-40 mins or until set & deep golden brown.
  • Step #16 DO NOT OVERBAKE.
  • Step #17 In small saucepan over very low heat, melt glaze ingredients, stirring constantly.
  • Step #18 Immediately drizzle over warm brownies.
  • Step #19 Cool completely.
  • Step #20 To serve, beat topping ingredients until stiff peaks form.
  • Step #21 Top each dessert square with whipped cream.
  • Step #22 Garnish with chocolate dipped pecans, if desired.
  • Step #23 Store in refrigerator.
