Ingredients
1/2 c frozen peas .
3 potatoes, sliced .
6 beef bouillon cubes .
1/2 c green beans .
1 tsp salt .
1/3 c flour .
4 onions, sliced .
2 c cooked beef, sliced .
4 c boiling water .
1/3 c butter or margarine .
1/8 tsp nutmeg or mace .
2 carrots, sliced .
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
Step #1 Heat the butter In a large-ish saucepan; then whisk in the flour.
Step #2 Gradually add OXO beef cubes which have been dissolved in the boiling water.
Step #3 Stir until thickened.
Step #4 Add meat & vegetables except the peas.
Step #5 Bring to a boil.
Step #6 Reduce the heat, cover & let simmer for 1/2 hr.
Step #7 Stir in the peas & add the nutmeg, salt & pepper.
Step #8 Continue to cook this until the peas are heated through.
