• 2 tbsps lemon juice .
• 2 eggs .
• 1 c brown sugar .
• 1 c white sugar .
• 1 tsp baking soda .
• 1 3/4 c shortening .
• 5 1/2 c flour .
• 2 tsps grated lemon rind .
• 1/2 tsp salt

• Step #1 Cream shortening & add sugars.
• Step #2 Add lemon juice, rind, eggs.
• Step #3 Mix dry ingredients & add.
• Step #4 Form dough into small balls.
• Step #5 Place on a greased cookie sheet & flatten.
• Step #6 Bake 350F for 10-12 mins.
