Texas Turtle Cheesecake Cupcakes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 lb cream cheese .
  • 12 caramels .
  • 1 (3 oz) bar bittersweet chocolate (Lindt) .
  • 1/2 c pecans .
  • 3/4 c sugar .
  • topping .
  • 3 eggs .
  • Cheesecake .
  • 1 1/2 tsps vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Place the cheesecake ingredients in a food processor/blender & mix for 3 mins, until smooth.
  • Step #3 Place 12 foil wrap baking c on a baking sheet, or use muffin tins.
  • Step #4 Ladle the cheesecake batter into the c.
  • Step #5 Topping: Coarsely chop the chocolate, quarter the 12 caramels & chop the pecans; mix these together, & generously top each cheesecake c with this mixture.
  • Step #6 Be sure to keep the pieces of caramel toward the center, or the caramel will run out! Bake in a preheated oven for 35 mins.
  • Step #7 Cool completely, then put in the fridge.
