• 1/3 c brown sugar, packed .
• 1/4 c corn syrup .
• 1 c dried cranberries or frozen cranberries .
• 2 tsps baking powder .
• 1 1/2 c oatmeal .
• 2/3 c shortening .
• 1 c flour .
• 1 egg .
• 1/2 tsp salt .
• 1/4 c pecans

• Step #1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
• Step #2 Cream shortening, sugar, corn syrup, & egg 1 min with mixer til creamy.
• Step #3 In separate bowl mix flour,baking powder & salt.
• Step #4 Add to cream mixture.
• Step #5 Stir in cranberries,oatmeal & pecans.
• Step #6 Mix well.
• Step #7 Drop by tbsp until greased baking sheet.
• Step #8 Bake 9-12 mins or until golden.
