Boarding House Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c green peppers (sliced) .
1 1/2 tsps salt .
1/4 c brown sugar .
Meatloaf sauce .
3/4 c catsup .
1 1/2 lbs ground beef .
2 eggs (beaten) .
1/4 c onions (sliced) .
1/4 c catsup .
2 tbsps onions (sliced) .
2 tbsps green peppers (sliced) .
3/4 c uncooked oatmeal

Directions

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step #2 Combine all ingredients for meatloaf.
Step #3 Place into greased 9x3 inch loaf pan.
Step #4 Bake for 1 hr.
Step #5 Pour off juice & bake about 10 mins longer.
Step #6 Place on platter & cover with sauce.
Step #7 For sauce simmer all ingredients over low heat/flame until onion & pepper are tender.
