• 3 eggs (or 3/4 c Egg Beaters to make this low-fat) .
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional) .
• 1/4 tsp vanilla extract .
• 1/8 tsp salt .
• maple syrup (optional) .
• powdered sugar (optional) .
• 8-10 pieces thickly sliced bread .
• 3 tbsps sugar .
• 3/4 c milk (or soy milk to make it dairy-free) .
• 2 tbsps hershey's cocoa powder

• Step #1 Beat eggs, sugar, milk, cocoa powder, if desired, salt & cinnamon, vanilla, in large bowl until smooth.
• Step #2 Heat griddle or skillet over medium-low heat.
• Step #3 Grease griddle with margarine, if necessary (or spray with non-stick cooking spray).
• Step #4 Dip bread in egg mixture.
• Step #5 Place on griddle.
• Step #6 Cook about 2 to 4 mins on each side.
• Step #7 Serve as soon as possible with powdered sugar or maple syrup, if desired.
