The Govenor's Hot Buttered Coffee Recipe

Ingredients

1 fluid oz dark rum .
1/4 tsp ground allspice .
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg .
1/4 c sweet unsalted butter .
whipped cream .
1/4 tsp ground cloves .
2 c dark brown sugar, packed .
1 fluid oz heavy cream .
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon .
fresh brewed strong coffee (very hot)

Directions

Step #1 Cream butter & sugar; mix in spices.
Step #2 Refrigerate mixture until ready to use.
Step #3 Add a scant tbsp of butter/spice mixture in a 10-oz mug.
Step #4 Add rum & heavy cream.
Step #5 Fill mug with coffee.
Step #6 Garnish with whipped cream.
Step #7 Butter/spice mixture is enough for about 20 servings.
