Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c hot water .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 1/4 c beer .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 2 large onions, sliced .
  • 1 1/2 lbs chuck or beef .
  • 1/4 c sliced parsley .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 6 medium potatoes

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut meat into 1/4 inch thick slices & lb slightly.
  • Step #2 Cut potatoes in thick slices.
  • Step #3 Heat butter, saute onion & brown meat on all sides.
  • Step #4 Place in layers with other ingredients in a casserole.
  • Step #5 Pour water into frying pan.
  • Step #6 Stir & add liquid to casserole.
  • Step #7 Add beer.
  • Step #8 Cover up & bake this at 375 degrees for 1 hr until meat is tender.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with sliced parsley.
