Ingredients
1 1/2 c hot water .
2 tbsps butter .
1/4 c beer .
1/2 tsp pepper .
2 large onions, sliced .
1 1/2 lbs chuck or beef .
1/4 c sliced parsley .
1 tsp salt .
6 medium potatoes
Directions
Step #1 Cut meat into 1/4 inch thick slices & lb slightly.
Step #2 Cut potatoes in thick slices.
Step #3 Heat butter, saute onion & brown meat on all sides.
Step #4 Place in layers with other ingredients in a casserole.
Step #5 Pour water into frying pan.
Step #6 Stir & add liquid to casserole.
Step #7 Add beer.
Step #8 Cover up & bake this at 375 degrees for 1 hr until meat is tender.
Step #9 Sprinkle top with sliced parsley.
