Baked Tomatoes With Garlic (tomates'a La Provencale) Recipe

Ingredients
  • parsley (to garnish) .
  • salt & fresh ground pepper .
  • 2-3 tbsps olive oil .
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely sliced .
  • 2 tbsps sliced fresh parsley .
  • 1 tbsp dry breadcrumbs .
  • 2 large tomatoes

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 425.
  • Step #2 Cut tomatoes in half crosswise amd place on foil wrap lined baking sheet.
  • Step #3 Mix crumbs, parsley, garlic, salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 Spoon over the tomato halves.
  • Step #5 Drizzle generously with olive oil.
  • Step #6 Bake at top of oven for 8-10 mins until lightly browned.
  • Step #7 Serve at once, garnished with parsley.
  • Step #8 Can be made ahead & baked quickly while you are carving the meat.
