Italian Chicken Sausage And Peppers Skillet Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic .
  • 1 onion, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil .
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning .
  • salt, to taste .
  • 3/4 c white wine .
  • 1 lb Italian chicken sausage .
  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced into strips .
  • 1/2 yellow pepper, sliced into strips .
  • 1/2 lb mini penne pasta, cooked al dente .
  • 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese .
  • pepper, to taste .
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced into strips .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can recipe ready tomatoes seasoned with basil garlic & oregano

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat large skillet & add olive oil.
  • Step #2 Add sausage & brown on all sides.
  • Step #3 Remove sauage to cutting board.
  • Step #4 Add onion to pan & cook about 3 min Add garlic & cook another 2 min Then add peppers, italian seasoning & salt & pepper.
  • Step #5 Cook until crisp tender.
  • Step #6 While pepper mixture is cooking.
  • Step #7 Cut sausage into bite sized pieces.
  • Step #8 Then add back to skillet when peppers are just about done.
  • Step #9 Add tomatoes & wine & let come to boil.
  • Step #10 Turn down to simmer for 5 min, uncovered.
  • Step #11 Stir in cooked & drained pasta.
  • Step #12 Sprinkle top with cheese & serve.
