Pasta For The Kids Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese .
  • 10 oz frozen green peas .
  • 3/4 c heavy cream .
  • 1/3 c low sodium chicken broth .
  • 12 oz farfalle pasta (bowties)

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook pasta al dente in salted water.
  • Step #2 Add peas 1 min before end of cook time.
  • Step #3 Drain & return pasta & peas to pot.
  • Step #4 Meanwhile, simmer until slightly thickened, mix cream & broth In a large-ish skillet, about 7 mins.
  • Step #5 Stir in Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  • Step #6 Add sauce to pasta & peas & toss to mix.
  • Step #7 Spice up with salt & pepper & garnish with extra parmesan cheese.
