Chocolate Sundaes In A Shell Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream .
  • 6 frozen puff pastry shells .
  • 6 oz semisweet chocolate pieces .
  • 6 tbsps butter or margarine .
  • 1/4 c walnuts, finely sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Bake pastry shells according to pkg.
  • Step #2 directions.
  • Step #3 Remove from baking sheet & cool on wire rack.
  • Step #4 Place chocolate & butter in saucepan.
  • Step #5 Heat until chocolate softens.
  • Step #6 Stir until smooth.
  • Step #7 Place a scoop of ice cream in each pastry shell.
  • Step #8 Spoon warm chocolate mixture over ice cream.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with nuts.
  • Step #10 (Chocolate mixture will harden making a "chocolate shell".
  • Step #11 ).
  • Step #12 TIP: To microwave sauce, place chocolate & butter in microwave-safe bowl.
  • Step #13 Microwave on HIGH 1 to 1 1/2 min or until chocolate softens.
  • Step #14 Stir until smooth.
