Cinnamon Popcorni Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 (2.25 oz) packages cinnamon red hot candies
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsps light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c unpopped popcorn

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil in a large pot or saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Pour in the popcorn, cover, & shake a couple of times to coat the kernels with oil.
  • Step #3 When the corn starts to pop, shake pan continuously until popping stops.
  • Step #4 Pour popped corn into a large paper bag.
  • Step #5 Combine the butter, corn syrup & red hot candies in a microwave safe bowl or saucepan.
  • Step #6 Heat, stirring every once in awhile until the candies have melted.
  • Step #7 Pour the hot syrup over the popped corn, & shake the bag for 1 min, until completely coated.
  • Step #8 Cool, & serve.
